Three Strange Women Joins the WEMF Radio Family!

LIKE A PHOENIX, WE RISE FROM THE ASHES... 

If you've been following my work with Three Strange Women, you're well aware that it has been an extremely difficult and trying year for many of us involved in Boston's internet radio scene & the Boston Media scene as a whole. 

I'm happy to say that we're past ALL OF IT, and HAPPY TO BE JOINING THE WEMF RADIO FAMILY!


I am now a BUSINESS OWNER, functioning as THREE STRANGE WOMEN PRODUCTIONS. My brand encompasses aspects of Radio, Event , & Social Media promotion, making us an all-around media dream for any advertisers looking to work with us. 

A little refresher of who we are: 

Three Strange Women is a 2 hour, weekly radio show created by Jackie Soriano, geared towards the LGBT community, airing every Tuesday evening from 9:00-11:00PM on WEMF Radio. We've been on air since July of 2011 and in our time as an entity, we've become so much more than just an on-air program. 

We are a FAMILY of hard working, enthusiastic, & sassy individuals who are here to have our voices heard and to take a stance as activists in our community. We represent and encompass all aspects of the queer rainbow spectrum and encourage all similarly-progressive people to join our family.

The Three Strange Women radio show & brand is aimed at -but not limited to- the LGBTQ community across the globe. We have a wonderful team of fabulous queers lined up to keep our listeners informed, engaged, and entertained. We like to keep things light-hearted, with POSITIVE news articles, fun themes and segments, and regular coming out/transition stories to give hope & encouragement to others planning on or thinking about coming out. We also keep our loyal followers updated with queer friendly events happening in Boston and the surrounding areas.

Professionally, we've been an extremely successful on-air program for just under 3 years, we have a very active social media presence (Facebook, Blogger, YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram & more), and in December of 2013, TSW was registered as a small business specializing in event coordination & production! The business encompasses aspects of a social media campaign, a live, weekly radio program, and several monthly events in the Metro-Boston area. 

Our two most recent endeavors in the Boston Nightlife Scene are "Très Chic", TSW's very own queer dance party occurring on the THIRD THURSDAY of every month @ Machine Night Club, and "DRAMA" in conjunction with Paper Panda/ DJ Leah V @ PA's Lounge.... and of course, keep an ear out for our super secret, wicked fun underground & after hours events. Our most recognized victory is our float in last year's Gay Pride Parade in Boston. Needless to say, we're an all around force to be reckoned with.
